A new house!!!!
Come on down! I can't say how excited I am these days. Well, I could...but that may be going a little over the top. Kawaii Five-Oh! is packing up and moving out. It's like being called on the Price is Right and getting the opportunity to see just how far you can go. I can't wait to start cooking up in the new kitchen, experimenting even more with the increase in space.
After this Saturday, March 20th, Kawaii Five-Oh! will be located in Rockville, MD. I have had a wonderful time, trying to get lost and find all of the stores, shops, and restaurants in every nook and cranny around the new location. There are so many things packed into one place.
I have a little bit further to travel to get to work, but about 15 min more. Last night, even though I don't have furniture yet in the house, I just had to stay the night. I really wanted to do a practice run, to make sure the time I figured I needed to leave for work, was actually the time I needed to leave. It was. I made a couple of stops along the way, but still made it in by 7am. ^_^ That helped me to calculate what time I needed to get up to get the kiddos to their designated areas at the right time.
Traffic to work was a breeze, but getting home will be a different story. I will have to make sure to leave right on time from work, to lessen the time I'll be in traffic, as well as to increase the amount of time I could be spending baking ^_^.
I'm grateful for all the things that got me to this point...even the not-so-great things. All things happen for the greater good and nothing is by accident.
I will definitely post pics of my first bakin' in the new place...maybe I'll see about getting a photo album up. In the meantime, the weekend cannot get here soon enough! I can't wait to get the rest of my stuff packed up ^_^.
